INFORMATION LITERACY
Library Resources Instruction
The Globe Institute of Technology supports the practice of Information Literacy. One-hour
Library Resources Training classes are conducted by the librarian in the Library’s Computer
Room. Course instructors participate, as well, so they can apply information literacy with
their students during the academic semester for investigative projects and weekly class
assignments, and practice information literacy independently for personal and professional
endeavors. Course instructors from other disciplines may also schedule their classes for
Library Resources Training sessions at the library by appointment. Individualized instruction
with the librarian is also available.
