Athletics
At Globe, our goal is to continually have the premier athletic program at the junior college level on the east coast and we have made great strides to do so in our short time as an athletic department.
Globe Knight Athletics have garnered All-Region, All-District and All-American honors while competing in regional tournaments with the goal of competing nationally. Numberous student-athletes have succeeded at Globe and moved on to NCAA Division I, II and III programs to continue their academic studies.
Recently our legacy of success reached the professional level as one of our former men's basketball players was chosen in the second round of the NBA Draft. One of our former baseball players was also selected in the Major League Baseball Draft.
We offer athletic scholarships to those who qualify in 6 intercollegiate programs: Men's Football, Men's Soccer, Women's Volleyball, Women's Basketball, Men's Basketball and Baseball.
Knights Athletics will continue to compete in the 2009-2010 season at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I level in Region XV.
