Globe Institute of Technology wants you to benefit from a full college experience during your time with us. Here's how you can enhance your college experience both on and off campus.

College is a social experience. You only get out of it what you put into it. So here's your chance to get involved.

If you think you would like to join any of these groups or clubs, please come by the Student Services office, or email us at activities@globe.edu or call 212-349-4330 ext. 1801.

P.I.T. (Poetry Is Truth) Club is dedicated to the practice, praise, and promise of poetry. Bring your own verse. Bring your favorite poem by your favorite poet. Bring your appreciation for the oldest of literary genres while basking in what Gwendolyn Brooks described as "life distilled."

Soft Skills Club is a gathering geared toward equipping Globe students with the practical skills needed in the working world. Interview strategies, resume writing, tips on attire, and speaking techniques are just a few of the issues covered in Soft Skills. Students will get to participate in mock interviews set in real world environments, all in an effort to enhance a student's chance at securing a career.

The Dance/Latino Club welcomes all levels of dancers to weekly lessons aimed at exposing Globe students to new friends as well as new moves.

The Networking Club introduces students to installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques. Students will become familiar with different network types, such as Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN), while learning about and creating Active Directories (AD) and Domain Name Systems (DNS). The club will prepare participants for Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification.

The Computer Design Club explores the newest trends in web page/web site design and development. Students will experiment with the latest technologies; attend conferences, workshops and lectures; and stay abreast of ever-changing design and development strategies.

The Social Business Club offers Globe students the chance to network in social, stress-free environments. From movies to dinners to sporting events and more, students will have a chance to relax and enjoy while talking a little shop. It is within these confines that the bridges and bonds of future networking opportunities begin to be built.

The Single Mothers Club presents an opportunity for Globe mothers to meet friendly local moms, talk about kids, and share experiences on life and motherhood! We strive for an open, inclusive atmosphere wherein play dates may be arranged and mothers may unwind. So, come take part in a Single Moms Meet Up where advice, support and new friendships abound.
