Profile:
Dr. L. M. Polyakov's current research is in the areas of intelligent systems and integrated manufacturing systems.
Professional Experience:
From 1982-87, Dr. Polyakov was the principal designer and project manager of the Development Multilevel Integrated Control and Manufacturing System, a 20 million dollar project that included an automatic expert process design system, planning system and direct computer control. Since 1987 he has worked on projects in the area of computer control systems with such companies as Burns and Roe, Research Cottrell, Electrolytic and On-Board Chemical Corp. He is a professor at Essex Community College (NJ) and Globe Institute of Technology.
