Student Services

The men's basketball team is coached by Mark Morse . Coach Morse played Varsity basketball at L.I.C. H.S where he averaged 35 points per game during the 1988-1989 season. He then went to play Jr. College basketball at Arizona Western College, where he help lead his team to the National Jr. College tournament. Coach Morse was named MVP of the tournament (90-91). Coach was awarded a full scholarship from Mr. Orlando"Tubby" Smith to play for the University of Tulsa (91-93). He graduated from Tulsa in 94'.

Coach Morse is assisted by Troy Battle whom is in his 1st year as an Assistant coach

Men's Basketball sophomore Albert "AJ" Thomas selected as Player of the Year and 1st Team All Region in Region XV. He also finishes the regular season as the nation's leading scorer with 22.9 ppg and 4th in Assists with 7.9 apg.

Freshman Devon Walker selected as 2nd Team All Region.

NJCAA Men's Basketball All-America Teams Announced for 2012

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 10, 2012) – The 2011-12 All-Americans in NJCAA Division I, II and III men's basketball have been released. The selections were made by each division's respective basketball committee at the 2012 NJCAA Annual Meeting held March 28-31 in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The DI All-America First-Team is highlighted by South Plains College's (Texas) Marshall Henderson who guided the Texans to a perfect 36-0 season en route to the 2012 DI National Championship. Henderson averaged 19.6 points per game while shooting 44 percent from the field. The nation's top scorer in the DI ranks also landed on the First-Team. Globe IT's (N.Y.) Albert Thomas averaged 22.8 points per contest while also averaging 7.8 assists, which was second in the nation.
